These terms apply to the classes, socials, private lessons and other services of Step 2 The Beat – Dance Academy (Tiago Maia) and to the use of this website. By joining a class or booking a service you agree to them.

Classes and socials

• No partner is needed. Classes are open to all levels unless stated otherwise.
• Prices and how to pay are shown on the class or event page or given when you book. Events run with partners may have their own ticketing and terms.
• We may change a teacher, time or venue, or cancel a class, when necessary. We let you know as early as we can through our WhatsApp groups and social media.

Private lessons, first dance, corporate days and Jack & Jill competitions

• Prices, dates and what is included are agreed with you in writing (email or message) before we start.
• If you need to move a private lesson, please tell us at least 24 hours in advance; later cancellations may be charged.

Health, safety and respect

• You take part at your own risk. Tell your teacher about any injury or health condition before the class, and stop if something hurts.
• Partner dancing is built on consent and respect. Anyone who makes others feel unsafe may be asked to leave without a refund.
• Wear comfortable shoes that do not damage the dance floor and look after your belongings; we cannot accept responsibility for lost items.

Photos and videos

We sometimes film or photograph classes and events to share on this website and our social media. Tell us if you would rather not appear. Please ask before filming other dancers.

Website

The texts, photos, videos and logos on this website belong to Step 2 The Beat or their owners and may not be reused without permission. We try to keep all information correct but cannot guarantee it; the details given when you book prevail.

Liability and law
